Junebearing variety producing large, dark red, sweet, juicy berries. Although technically a Junebearing variety, 'Sequoia' will produce strawberries over a long period of the season. Great variety for fresh eating, preserving, or freezing. Boasts good disease resistance. Self-pollinating.
Strawberries prefer sunny locations with moist, fertile, well-drained soils. Strawberries spread via runners that develop into more plants, further increasing harvest the following year.
