Clusters of lavender, pink or white pompom flowers on open-branched stems. The leaves are very aromatic and can be used to make tea. Height 2-4'.
Monarda attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Prefers dry to medium well drained soil. Drought tolerate when established. Tolerates poor soil. Deadhead to promote new blooms. Will self seed in the garden. Deer and rabbit resistant.
