A native groundcover that the foliage emerges green and ages to a powder blue. Greenish white flowers in spring followed by interesting seed heads. Height 6-12".
Carex attracts birds and butterflies to the garden. Prefers average, medium to wet soils. Drought tolerant when established. Tolerates heavy shade and poorly drained soils. Cool season grass. Deer and rabbit resistant.
