Arching, narrow, dark green, clumping leaves. Height 12-30".
Carex attracts butterflies to the garden. Prefers average, medium to wet soils. Do not allow to dry out. Tolerates clay soils, heavy shade and shallow water. Cool season grass. Deer and rabbit resistant.
