A cross between European Blackberry, European Raspberry, and Loganberry, the Boysenberry is a trailing bramble with 2.5" long purple fruits bursting with juice and flavor. Good heat tolerance. Self-pollinating.
Boysenberries prefer a sunny spot with well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Self-pollinating varieties will produce fruit on their own, but will fruit more abundantly with other varieties present.
