Blueberry ‘Bonus’

Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Bonus’

Northern Highbush

Produces the largest blueberry on the market. Upright, deciduous shrub with creamy-white blooms that give way to juicy bright blue, grape sized blueberries full of flavor. One mature bush can produce 8-12 pounds of berries per season. Attractive to pollinators. Beautiful fall foliage adds excellent ornamental value. Height 4-5'.

Blueberries require medium to wet, well-drained, acidic soil (4.5 - 5.5) rich in organic material. Even though highbush blueberries are self-fertile and will fruit on their own, they will produce larger and more plentiful crops with other cultivars that bloom at the same time are present to cross-pollinate.
