Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Blueray’ A vigorous, highly productive variety excellent for the home gardener. Bushy, upright, deciduous shrub with white flowers that give way to medium-sized, firm, light blue berries. Attractive to pollinators. Beautiful brilliant red fall foliage and red stems add excellent ornamental value. Height 5-8'.
Blueberries require medium to wet, well-drained, acidic soil (4.5 - 5.5) rich in organic material. Even though highbush blueberries are self-fertile and will fruit on their own, they will produce larger and more plentiful crops with other cultivars that bloom at the same time are present to cross-pollinate.
