Soft, sweet, semi-double, white to light pink flowers in great abundance give value to an old garden favorite. Easy to grow and really lights up the spring garden with grace and sophistication. Winter foliage is a very dark wine-red. In early spring, it's the perfect contrasting the flowers emerge white before taking on a light pink glow. Height 10-15".

Bergenia attracts bees butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden. Prefers humus rich, moist, well drained soils. Tolerates heavy shade and a wide range of soil conditions. Intolerant of hot, dry conditions. Deer and rabbit resistant.
