Large, green, bluntly toothed leaves "zig zag" down the stem. Clusters of small yellow flowers appear near the top of the plant. Height 2-3'.
Not only does Solidagos give late season color to the garden but also food for the bees and butterflies. Prefers moist, well drained soils. Drought tolerate when established. Tolerates poor, dry soils. May self seed in the garden. Deer resistant.
