An arching clump of steel-blue leaves, bearing airy heads of tiny green flowers. Fall color is bright butter-gold, fading to tan. Panicum attracts birds and butterflies to the garden. Height 4-6'.
Prefers average, medium to wet soils. Drought tolerant when established. Tolerates air pollution, clay soils, dry soils, occasional flooding and sandy soils. Warm season grass.
