Round umbels of light blue flowers with spiky, blue green bracts. Toothed, dark green foliage. Height 20".
Eryngium attracts bees and butterflies. Prefers dry, sandy well drained soils. Tolerant of hot, dry sites, and soils high in salts. The sunnier the site, the more intense the blue. Deer and rabbit resistant.
